This reminds me of a German TV report that came out not that long ago. They had five "geek" students and they tried to work out what was wrong with them that they couldn't get a partner or why they were scaring the other one away. They then proceeded to teach them skills to make them more "attractive" to the other person.

Anyway, one guy walks into the room dressed in full knight's gear, the chainmail, the helmet, the lot! They asked him what he "did" – he said he was an IT student! But when he wasn't doing IT, he liked to dress up as a knight, kill evildoers and rescue princesses! I swear I am not making this up.

This guy is in his late 20's and he is standing there with a straight face in front of a gorgeous woman (and I REALLY mean gorgeous) telling her that in his spare time, he likes to "joust, drink, be merry, ride my steed and serve my Lord!" (he even put on a stupid accent!). Meanwhile she's frantically eyeing the exit and he's wondering why she doesn't want to rip his clothes off! Hmmm…you got any idea why?

So, yes, I think this Potsdam course is probably a VERY good idea! Leave the horses outside though. The swords too come to think of it.
