Well, it’s been a whole year—since we saw this thing at last year’s CES. But LG confirms the GD910 Watch Phone will be produced this year—and will arrive in the U.S. before Europe. Boasting some functionality/usability tweaks, it still looks a little clunky to me, but, hey, to each his own geeky-gadget, fashion-fetish-faux pas… Check out Engadget’s hands-on…er…on-wrist…video, right here.

  1. Now I'm almost starting to wish I hadn't joined the throng of people who got a Palm Centro last year. No way my contract will be up on it before these pretty lil things bring the wrist-watch look back in style. Maybe their price will come down to a manageable level by the time I can get it.

  2. That's a good way to think, Michael, because even though LG's quoted no MSRP yet, look for these to be WAY expensive on rollout! Almost one of those "if you have to ask, you can't afford it" deals, I'm bettin'…in fact, bet you nickel they street for well over a grand, unlocked…probably the only way you'll get one on launch is unlocked, and imported from Korea, so figure in currency devaluation, too…ouch!

But hey, I'm no Oracle at Delphi, or anything. Hope I'm wrong!
