Easily the least painful Linux distro I've ever worked with. What I've been looking for. And the tool bar at the bottom with the google stuff is easily configurable to be what you want. Still haven't gotten around to writing a review of it.... I have experienced just how quickly that 4GB fills up when I tried to install my 'default suite' of applications. If you have gears installed you can already work offline and if you have access to the internet all you really need is your google stuff easily accessible.
