Yeah, I really miss Firebug -- whenever I need it, I use Firefox. So far I haven't needed it for any difference of behavior between Gecko and WebKit.

When chrome supports Firebug, Web Developer Tool, Url params etc I'll join it! ;-)

Of course the chrome inspector is a great tool, but not like firebug!

However chrome supports its task manager, a must have tool!

I actually really love chrome, the interface is very clean, never getting in my way. It is also very fast and stable. I love the fact that if one tab crashes the rest don't go down with it. As opposed to the session restore hack that FF uses. I just wish chrome supported linux where I must still use ff. In windows though chrome is pretty much my default.

I really do like FF too, but it seems to have been sliding in quality big time lately. I don't use any extensions either and after a few days of many tabs being opened it just stops loading pages, or crashes. Which gets annoying ;( ah well both are great opensource products and I wish the best to both improving and giving users great experiences!

After using it for three months, there are two major superiorities for Chrome:

1. Speed -- and not just a little. It makes a big difference in my productivity.

2. The address bar is way smarter. I've moved to doing most of my navigating from the address bar instead of my bookmarks or search.

That said, Firefox is way ahead on extensibility and features. We'll see how this plays out in the long run.

I still don't see the point. Firefox does everything I want and need.

Chrome may be a little quicker in areas but it still feels a little like a toys-r-us browser.
