Wednesday Geeky Pics: Geeky Tattoos

This week’s pics examine the ultimate in permanent geek cred: the geeky tattoo.

I will add that this last one was particularly hard to pick… it turns out that a whole lot of people choose to decorate their bodies with Star Wars.

  12. In a couple of weeks I’ll be getting my 4th tattoo, but my first geeky one – a tribal arm cuff with coloured gaming dice overlaid ^_^ Telling the world “Yes, I’m a D&D geek!”

  16. Ha Ha Ha , the worst thing is that the tatoo representing salt (NaCl) is wrong, sodium and chloride don’t have a covalent bond, they have an ionic bond, so the tatoo is wrong! (and me knowing it is more geek than the tatoo itself).

  49. I have an atomic symbol that's about 15 years old on the back of my right wrist and a sleeve of a DNA strand combining human and Dalek (from Doctor Who) DNA wrapping from the back of my left wrist and going around so that it ends on my left shoulder that's about three to four years old.

    I'm hoping to eventually have one strand of human DNA and one strand of Dalek DNA to take up the other two-thirds left open to make it a full sleeve.

    I'm writing this from an iPod Touch so can't search for links to show them off though I'm definite they show up on my Flickr or Facebook or my Livejournal scrapbook etc. I think there's even some on my Model Mayhem modeling portfolio. I am either "mollyblack" or "drmollyblack" and it's a Doctorate of Divinity so I only use it for fun. 

    My boyfriend and I have matching Bub and Bob tattoos on our right and left arms. When we put them together, they have fun times.
