The Pin Clock

November 26, 2008 by Geeks are Sexy | 2 comments

Back when I was a kid, I used to play with those pin art boards, where you could stick your face in, or any other object, and obtain the shape of this object imprinted on the surface of the board.

In remembrance of those good old times, I present: the Pin Clock! This battery operated clock uses hundreds of pins to display the time in 3D. The pins automatically reshuffle themselves every minute to display the current hour and minutes. It retails for $59.95 on Amazon.com.

I used to play with those pin art things as a kid too. I’d usually leave imprints of my middle finger when I went to my grandparents house. They finally learned and put it where I couldn’t find it. But I think I may have to get that clock for my grandpa for Christmas and take him on a trip down memory lane.
