Well David I hate to bust your bubble but the Autobahn is actually safer than American freeways. It does indeed come from lack of awareness and distracted driving. The Autobahn has STRICT rules that must be followed or you will be ticketed. One such rule is that the left lane has one purpose and that is for passing. If you aren't passing another car you must clear the lane. Distractions such as talking on the phone, eating, putting on your pants, etc. are also illegal. I will not take the liberty of proving my point if you are indeed interested in the truth you can research it yourself…

Common dudes, the picture must be taken at least a 10 m away form the car. In this case, the focus should also be on the right side of the car. If you only focus on the left side, you have to be really close in order for the right side to be blurred.

Actually its not, Speed has not killed so meny becuase there are speed limits…

The only way you can say that is by getting some statistics of deaths made by someone going fast when there is no such thing as speed limits…

Actually, Mark, your story proves Adam's point. It was NOT the speed the driver was going that was the problem, it was the fact that the idiot driver was unable to control the vehicle at the speed it was going. It would not have mattered, had it been 20kmh or 150 kmh. The moron driver, for whatever reason, would most likely have hit the car in front, regardless. Shall we now list the distractions idiot drivers engage in? eating, texting, phone conversations, makeup placement etc., etc., etc.

I tend to agree that advanced driver training is needed, rather than stricter speed controls.
