Honestly, when it became apparent that they weren’t trying to create something funny, they just wanted to thumb their noses at the MPAA and anyone else trying to make a stand for decency (right or wrong,) I totally quit watching. They didn’t cross a line with me, because they are completely irrelevant.

I didn’t see the episode mostly because SP lost my interest years ago. Parker and Stone use their cartoon to get their points across just like many other cartoonists. What bothers me about them doing it though is that they aren’t even clever about it… Spielberg and Lucus raping Harrison Ford? Not exactly what I’d call a hidden analogy.

If I really want intelligent satire that goes way too far on a weekly basis, I have Family Guy and American Dad.

I am a BIG fan of South Park and I personally think they never go to far. As you said, people forget it’s an adult cartoon. I would add it’s an open-minded adult cartoon. Not everyone can watch this…

However, I think this new episode was kinda disappointing. The whole Chinese plot was too long. I was bored at times. The rape scene cracked me up though.

What I really like about South Park is the underlying messages in each episode and although I didn’t really like this episode, I totally got the message.

Looking forward for some more disturbing episodes…

The raping metaphor isn’t offensive or even shocking. It’s par for the course of what Stone & Parker do best. What’s sad here is that nerds still get angrily and childishly bent out of shape when their pet franchises go in directions other than what they envisioned in their wank fantasies. Didn’t like Crystal Skull or Attack of the Clones? Tough noogies. We all see movies we don’t like now and then. Boo-hoo. Whining about it – or worse; making a bitter cartoon about it – just seems puerile. As odd as it may sound, I’d expect the South Park boys to be above this.
