even if i was a billionare that lego model would be the last thing i would buy! you are selfish as hell if u would buy one there are people out there starving without there without houses & you are going to spend it on a lego model of yourself! give it to somebody… buy yourself a poster picture & hang it

If I win the $25 million lotto draw on Saturday…I still wouldn’t get one.

Nice idea but $60,000 on a lego replica of yourself is vanity in the extreme. I would consider giving one to someone as a gift though I suppose.

Oh ok… I googled for the price, and took the first think I stumbled on ;) LOL.

Even at 0.10.. it totals up to about $2500. :)

If you think the per piece cost of a LEGO set is about $0.03, you haven’t priced any sets for about 30+ years. It’s more like $0.10 – $0.12 per piece. Of course, there is no set with only the pieces you’d need for such a project as this, so the per piece cost will likely be even higher.

And if that’s too much to pay someone else, you could always build one yourself. :P

I’d say their timing for vanity expenses in this market is about as bad as it could be.

Let’s see, on average, a single lego piece in a bukl kit cost around $0.03.. so 25000 * 0.03= $750 USD

So the lego guy would basically charge $59250 for this time and expertise.. that’s not a small price to pay for a replica of yourself :)
