I totally didn’t know AoC was a real game. I figured they just made it up to keep from pissing off WoW players (something I used to be for about 6 months…).

I can definitely see where you’re coming from, but I guess I just don’t see it as stereotyping any more than other sitcoms. I’ve come to expect a sitcom character to be something of a caricature. I think that the characters are supposed to be drawn in such a way to make people like them, though, which mitigates some of that – at least for me!

I disagree about BBT. I have been offended many times by that show’s stereotyping.
