Actualy, mercury thiocyanate; long ago it was used in those "snakes" sold at fireworks stands. The fireworks now contain less-toxic substances. Fun to watch, but don't breathe the fumes.
I was just about to say, inhalation of those fumes isn't a healthy thing to do.
yeah, I was going to ask if that's what they use in those snake fireworks you can buy
