They’re going to stuff it up aren’t they?

How can the Yanks work with the writers of the UK success ‘The Office’.
They’ve already desecrated that series by trying to be TOO clever for their own boots.

The American version is just TOO overdone, and quite simply put:….Isn’t even funny.

Everything gets lost in translation from OUR sense of humour to YOURS.
Guess which one we like??

Are there any Americans STILL watching THEIR version of the office??

Case closed.
Please let ‘Ghostbusters’ RIP.
Let’s just love the memories and watch the replays.

Can you imagine ‘The Great Escape’ 2 or 3??

The main difference between GB and Indy is that while Indy failed becasue the sight of Harrison (bless ‘im) running around doing all the stunts trying to be a young guy made everyone want to give him a cup of Ovaltine and tell him to sit down before he cracked a hip, watching GB was always about the laughs. They couldn’t climb stairs, hated running and generally abhored physical exercise in the first two – I doubt they’ll suddenyl have them leaping off tall buildings now.
So long as they keep the funny in I will love it!

Personally, i never understood the attraction with Ghostbusters…I never found it funny, scary, or even remotely interesting. Just campy and dated.

Now, that’s not to say the actors aren’t great…Murry and Aykroyd are brilliant.

i just loved those ‘old’ sf films, if the 3td is coming out, im def. gonna watch it !!

I can’t tear apart the Indiana Jones film and then turn around and support a new GB film. I will watch it because I really did love the franchise growing up but my expectations are disastrously low.

It may be the end of the Ghostbusters era. GB2 wasn’t great, but still in the same vein. I can’t see them doing another one without Sigorney, but it needs to be done if they are going to keep it going. I’m anxious for that NEW Activision video game, especially since I finally beat the old game on my C64 a few years ago…
