It should be expected that those who control the flow of information shall maintain the right to rule unchallenged. The internet was not taken into account by the old money, the future is threatened, independent critical thinking is not permitted in a scientific society.

I agree with Jasper. The net is owned by no one, and no one has the right to police it. ISPs shouldn’t be responsible for what goes through their lines because, when they are, they have to violate their customers’ right to privacy and look at the data. There is no reason to do that to a paying customer. It’s like renting an apartment and then the landlord coming in and evicting you because he doesn’t like the decor.
