The lighting does change ever so slightly. But probably because of pollution, the smog in the sky forms a very uniform light on him, like a photographers softbox.

It does look fake though, in regards that the movement of the flight stick doesn't really translate to much. Plus would you take your hands off the stick like that? I know I wouldn't. Ok in a Cessna, fingertip is the way forwards but some rickety flying machine like this? No way.

There's no way that this is real – I've been on more single-engine flights than most, I suspect, and every detail of this "flight" is way, way off.

I cant help but think that if this were real, he would at least include some shots of the airplane itself along with the video. I have to agree that it looks green screened in.
