I'm a SpinVox man myself but before I journey down the road of the 'Jottists' (lol), can I say that even *I* prefer speaking my tweets through Twitterfone.

Having the audio as a link is a stroke of genius and really helps give Twitterers an emotional connection.

Also – I really like that my face appears down there in the 'sexy geek' column.

Certainly brings a smile to my face.

Many thanks for the post, I see the "jottists" beat me here, kind of familiar pattern all over the web where twitterfone is mentioned.

Seriously I love Jott too, I really love twitterfone for twitter though, we have a double fallover, in case the system got it wrong your friends can listen to the audio file to clarify.

Was about to suggest Jott. It does the same thing, but also lets you send emails, text messages, and post to a number of other accounts. The feature that has been incredible useful to me is linking it to my remember the milk account – for example I left my doctor's office on Friday and needed a reminder for my follow up appointment. I called Jott, said "Remember the Milk" at the prompt, and said: "Follow up doctor's appointment on july 15th at 10 am". When I arrived at work 5 minutes later the reminder was already set perfectly.

Nothing's perfect, but I was a little freaked out yesterday when one of the people I follow phoned in to Twitterfone that he was just almost in an accident and Twitterfone interpreted our friend's name as a location instead… it was very disconcerting. I guess the lesson learned here is: Maybe don't Twitterfone urgent information? :)
