The Science of Ball to Crotch

May 22, 2008 by Geeks are Sexy | 2 comments

The poor fellow you are about to see signed up for a pretty disturbing televised science experiment. The sports science show wanted to test the reaction a male individual would have when receiving a blow to the groin. Gentlemen, be ready to cross your legs. This is serious psychological torture.

Somehow, I think that all the guys watching this initially doubled up. That’s the usual response.

Science behind ball to the crotch: initial perception of contact causes primitive reflex at the spinal level to collapse into a “want-to-pass-out” moment.

It all gets better once the nausea passes.

A shot to the balls video never gets old!
