Yeah... I could do without Mark Zuckerberg (Chris DeWolf or Tom Anderson of MySpace would have had a bigger impact). Kevin Rose? eeeh... For the techies maybe.

What's with Jerry Yang being at the bottom of the food chain there at #13? Sure Yahoo isn't what it once was, but they blazed some serious trails.

I kinda think that Steve Case of America Online should be mentioned. Now granted, AOL seems a moot point now, but nearly 20 years ago, it was the face of the Internet before there really was a "WWW" and served as the Internet on-ramp for millions of people who might've never tried it otherwise.

OMG, this list sucks!!!!

1. I would take off Larry Page for being a multi billionaire and still not being able to dress with style.

2. Mark Zuckerberg??? What the hell! FaceBook and myspace may have changed the Internet but they certainly didn't make it a better place.

3. Kevin Rose of Digg. Same as the facebook guy. I can live without Digg. I actually don't like Digg anyways.

bram cohen. creator of bittorrent!

i wrote a paper on how piracy and internet push each other forward. with each step one takes, the other has to take one to keep up. 56k and maybe cds. dsl/cable and cds/dvds. soon we'll be blasting away on even faster internet. people have begun sharing BDs and the "quality" of media is going up, making the file sizes that much bigger. bigger sizes need faster internet to make it worth downloading and bigger hard drives to hold it all. it's all one big cycle. eventually we'll be sending and receiving data at the speed of thought and have hard drives with unlimited capacities. and then the world will blow up. =P
