The following video shows a new Minority Report-like multi-touch interface that was presented last week at CeBIT 2008. Yeah, we know, this is not the first multi-touch video we’ve posted on [GAS], but since we think the technology is so exciting, we can’t help ourselves!

I also attended the show and this is truly amazing! I have tried this at CeBIT and it it the most elegant, smoothest and most receptive multitouch experiences you can imagine. Minority report finally came true! My research revealed that this was created and developed by a German company based in Berlin, Q-Bus. Congratulations, wow!

You can find them at http://www.q-bus.de – beware, this is a German site ;-)

Definitely a cool technology. I can see this technology in our everyday lives. Our kitchen’s, above our stove to be used for recipes. On the fridge to show the inventory inside and expiration dates. In our cars(once the autopilot is engaged) to use the windshield as a HUD. Not to mention a replacement for TV’s and computer monitors.
