The design is good, although in my personal opinion, i doubt the sturdiness of the product because it is made out of bamboo. FYI bamboo quality is lessen if being harvest less than 5 years.

Yeah, I agree..

But if you need a new one because yours is broken, this one would look very nice on a dark wooden desk :)

Looks kinda cool, all feng shui and stuff. And it just so happens I need a new keyboard. I think I'll go buy a nice bamboo one.

So, to be environmentally friendly we should first discard our existing (presumably, non-recyclable) keyboards?

Wouldn't it just be better to hold on to your keyboard so it doesn't end up in landfill?

Maybe a bamboo one would be good if you actually needed a new keyboard, but not as a replacement for a working one.

Well I'm not saying using bamboo is going to single-handedly save the world overnight but you've got to admit that bamboo is more environmentally-friendly than plastic. Bamboo is a plant that can be re-grown.

But look at the Wikipedia entry for plastic which lists one of its environmental threats as "the release of toxic pollutants"

So how exactly do you save the environment by cutting down bamboo?
