I also experiencing this kind of problems on my Epson printer before. Even I buy new cartridge it always end up getting empty after I use if for only 1 week and printed only 50 page plain black document. I have to choice but to replace it with other good printer brand.

I have the Epson CX9400Fax. I bought the Epson Premium Glossy Photo Paper (4 x 6), printed about 4 pictures and it seems about one third of my ink was gone. I contacted Epson to ask how many 4×6 pictures can I get from one set of cartriges. They replied "it depends" and told me to look on line for a review or comparison but didn't suggest one. Do you know of any that would give me this info? Do you have any idea how many 4×6 pictures I can expect to print from one cartridge set? Right now it seems I'm only getting 10!! I'm using the highest quality – because I want my pics to look nice.
