There are only so many ways to lay down your John Hancock on a fresh check or credit card receipt and this here is definitely the most frightening. The Blood Pen uses a syringe full of the blood of your choosing combined with a fountain tip to horrify onlookers and attract nearby sharks. The annoying mechanism on the back is a battery operated lever which pushes down on the syringe to dispense blood when needed. As expected the obnoxious feather on the back doesn’t make it look any more like a real fountain pen. Oh well.
Don’t expect to get your hands on one as it was created by an independent designer and there is probably some sort of organization in place to prevent people from buying this kind of stuff. We’d totally use it if it wasn’t so loud and there weren’t any syringes involved.
Just think of the stuff you can fill out with this thing, taxes, receipts, contracts, whatever. Only problem is you can probably get the same result by mixing your blood with a pinch of corn starch and using a regular fountain pen.

A proper blood pen would have a needle designed to be inserted in your finger, thus drawing the blood out as needed.
Granted, this may be a problem, say, midway through a 200-page manifesto.
Looks like a hybrid between a regular pen and a tattoo machine. Anyway I hope he changes needles each time.
