People are saying, Oh this is a prototype, dont be so hard on it and such... But dear lord, if it took 6 yaers to make that garbage then I shudder to think about the time it will take those idiots to make something worth a damn. My 70 year old grandfather and I made a suit in a month that could tip over a car, was bullet, fire, water proof, and obviously reacted to you movement. They are making a big deal about being able to walk, and Oh YAY, it moves when you do! Christ, me and pop used valves and electronic sensors from cars to make ours. And it didn't cost anything. It was heavy ya, sheet metal and iron, hydraulics and such, but imagine if we had advanced materials? I dunno, I guess I'm saying that they are not trying very hard, or beating around the bush on purpose.

I agree, i too am a soldier..well i just returned home from training camp (brutal place) but i was thinking the same thing and i am anxious to see videos for a more compact front line suit, the possibilities would be tripled in terms of protection, strength, and combat attributes...truly amazing.

Tony your comment makes a valid point however what you fail to realize is that in any military branch the goods and new tech always goes to the smaller more capable units. I see this being implemented to say a member of a SOCOM or Force Recon Unit to serve its purpose for maybe a heavy weapons or an advanced systems tech. I would imagine Uncle Sam arming the entire fleet with these either but I could definitely see the advantages of having one or two in a platoon.

I do think the suits will progressively become more intricate and smaller. The hydrolics on the ekoskeleton they have now are much bigger (for heavier loads) for a combat soldier on the field, you won’t need as much, which means the suit will be smaller, lighter weight, and easier to move in. Shandooga, Artificial Intelligence has developed that much yet, we’re not quite there. But the crazy humans that we are, we’re working on it. Stick around long enough, maybe you’ll see it. I got a laugh out of that comment you made though.

It may create a super-soldier, but just like super-man, it has a weakness.

Can you say EMP?

My job today I load missles and bombs. I am pretty sure a super human robot could. Hell I lift the missles by hand, just need 2 other people, and thats just regulations, it only takes 2 people to lift a missle.

i beleive its still a prototype maby once it gets ready for the army it will probably have a high calibur armor on it to protect the soldier and plus beign able to pick up a heavy load in cambat can really help i mean you come piece if like concrete to help protect yourlef or somebody who is injured, another thing i think most people will piss their pants in fear to shoot you if you just moved a truck or bust down a wall with a bunch of enimeis hiding behind it.
