I've downloaded it, and I like all the little short cuts that Mozilla have added in.. like the bookmarks, and the remembering password … also, the tab memory is great, but they must have taken that idea from Opera.

Wow, site's changed a lot since I took a break from my rss feeds, heh. Glad to see things are going well, Kiltak.

I updated to FF3b1 a day or so ago. I'm liking it a lot so far. It took a bit of work to get all my extensions working, but in the end I either managed to find a beta that worked or tweak them so that everything but ColorZilla is now functional. I'm liking it a lot

Wow, they finally got the guts to face the M$ blood hounds and put gtk2 themed web widgets in the linux build. Bravo boys, and I hope the admins of the rest of the FLOSS proyects that have been "legally" hindered or stronghanded by M$ stand up and also give 'em the finger by doing/implementing the stuff they "legally" prohibit.

I've tried it and this version will definitely attract attention. I don't use it right now, because not all add-ons are functional.

I just moved the original firefox folder to the second partition.

I like it so far.

They have added the tab memory that opera has, which is a big plus.

Bookmarking is easy now with the * symbol.

Adblock plus and no script still work with it, which are basically the 2 important ones.

You can install it in a different directory, and then it should be fine. There's also the "source" from the nightly builds. It's not really uncompiled source. It's kind of like those Apple (and GNUStep) things with everything contained in one directory, and then you can just run the firefox executable in there. I'm not really sure if that's how the Windows nightlies are distributed though. Still, you should be able to install in a different directory. Lack of access to C:Program Files means I put Firefox 2 in C:Firefox and Gran Paradiso in C:Gran Paradiso at work.
