You know there’s something seriously wrong with us North Americans when most of us prefer being online to having sex or being with friends. It may be a sad indicator of where things will be in the near future.
More than a quarter of respondents — or 28 percent — admitted to spending less time socializing face-to-face with peers because of the amount of time they spend online. It also found that 20 percent said they spend less time having sex because they are online.

20 percent less sex? This translates to 1/5th fewer chances to have children, which will ultimately lead to 1/5th fewer myspace pages with abyssmal html coding and eye-bleeding color schemes.
I think I can get behind this trend.

I was going to say “That might be the most pathetic thing I’ve ever heard”… until I read the first comment and realized how true it is. As someone who’s rather addicted to MySpace, nothing pisses me off more than that very item… so… spend more time online and less time having sex you mutants! The world thanks you!

I’m embarrassed to say that I took a geek quiz the other night. One of the sections of the quiz had pairs of things for you to choose between. You could have one of them whenever you wanted, but the other one would be lost forever. One of the questions asked you to choose between the internet and sex. Sadly, I chose the internet. If that’s not the sign of a true geek, I’m not sure what is. I guess it’s a good thing I don’t have a boyfriend, seeing as how I’d give him up for internet access. *LOL*
it’s fun to see this, I mean sex is the second biggest desire after eating.
But I guess internet have bumped that desire down for some. But it could be that after 1 year you’d curse yourself for choosing internet, no one really knows.
I’d definitely pick the Internet. What geek quiz was that?
