How to unlock your iPhone… for free!

Unlock iPhoneFor those of you who wish they could get an iPhone, but can’t because you live in a country where cell phone providers do not yet support it, read on.

In the last few weeks, a few “iPhone hackers” have started to sell unlocking software that can supposedly unlock Apple’s expensive toy and make it work anywhere. Up until now, the most popular one was iPhoneSimFree, an application currently selling for $99.

But things have just changed. A few months ago, fans of the open-source community have started to work on an alternative to the pricey software. Lo and behold, a free solution was born!
