The Prize Steal (Video)

August 14, 2007 by Kiltak |

Just imagine yourself in this situation: Someone calls you up to announce that you won a free meal at a local restaurant. You decide to take advantage of this offer and head over to the restaurant at the appointed time and date. When you get back home, you notice that your house has been emptied of all your valuables. This is exactly what happened to the couple featured in the next video.

How would you react if something like this would happen to you?

Ouch! Good thing they weren’t really the bad guys or they wouldn’t have gotten their stuff back.

I would think that it would have been better to have the “Limo” leave them at the restaurant. That would give the crooks more time to empty the house.

Also, they did not notice that their car was gone when they pulled up. The would have been the FIRST thing that I noticed.
And when the woman walked in, it looks like it took her until she got into the second room to realize that everything was gone.

I hope the TV show paid them an awful lot, if this was pulled on me I would tell them to keep the stuff, because they would be facing serious action in court.

I don’t know if this sort of thing can actually be done in England by a TV company, or not. In the USA the tv people would face jail, and then private suit.

But then, I would have sent the survey dude on his way with no info too.
