When I get home from vacation I'm adding a #! to the part of the belt that hangs out when I wear it. :P

Oh come on, Kiltak, you know Tux would complete it. There really needs to be more Tux accessories available. One of my friends made an Ubuntu flag for the Ubuntu Live Conference in Oregon and said he'd make me one for my birthday, but since he only got as far as "i thought of what to get/make you" in his first IM i said "tux belt buckle?" and so now he's thinking about that one ^_^ If anyone knows how to cast metal... there's a few people saying things like "tux earrings" and "BSD demon ring"

Haha - oh my goodness, that is a total geek belt...even though I want one, my wife would never let me wear it in public.

Nice work!

Yeah the old metal cases for those printer switchboxes I think would make good project enclosures. Over the years (before I became the way I am today), I would toss these away...to think how many projects I could have packed into those!

I'm not much of a Do-It-Yourselfer; however, I did get to do one really cool thing! I appeared on an episode of Complete Fix It on the DIY Network. I repaired hardwood floors in my own home! :)

I made a belt of bash commands :) Kiltak's seen it and teases me about it because it looks too "I made this" and not enough "I bought this." Now if someone would tell me where to get a Tux belt buckle, it'd be complete.

I made a timer tied to a relay that I hooked up to my furnace - I used an off the shelf digital timer with up to 10 presets for the "brain"

We have an oil burner that left to its own devices will turn on all day/night when the boiler temp gets below minimum.

So I interrupted the burner at its own relay and set the timer box to only be on when people are awake and might need hot water. - maybe 6 hours per day.

Managed to save 75% or more on the first month of oil use that way.

course in the winter I'll have to change timer settings.

best of all I put the whole works inside and old Multiplexing com port printer sharer - so Recycling old IT junk made a score too
