I don’t know if this is a real product or not (looks to be possibly a mock-up or faked picture), but wouldn’t it just be awesome to own one of these? I would buy one in a second!

- Now that the iPhone is here, what do you think?
- Attack helicopter for a micro battlefield
- Retro Hardware Orchestra
- Cell phone nano projectors: the next big thing?

LOL….how cool is that?
It’s clearly a faked picture though…
Digitalize it with the appropiate plugin in photoshop and you’ll see…
I think we should start a petition to develop one ;) – or at least a full touchscreen (ala iPhone) model that can use different skins & plugins like WinAmp.
If it was real, it would be cool but kinda weird too hehe.
It would be awesome! You can browse your library via a slightly larger shaped attachable piece, as well as a seperate one for the equalizer. Ala Winamp Classic.
LOL – yeah, that would be a great set of add-ons…! Then, every other week, a little sign would flip out of the side of the device saying that there was a new hardware version available to fix a security flaw.
:)
I read a how-to a couple years back on how to run a PC in your car with WinAmp as the controller software. It wouldn’t be hardware like that (way cool), but your small LCD screen would basically be filled up by the WinAmp software.
great, that would certainly beat the Ipod and other music players in the market. Talk of one and you get the most familiar feeling for the player.btw, great work on photoshop
Re: Photoshopping – Wasn’t me…!
I could see someone developing a complete touchscreen interface, ala iPhone, and have various downloadable skins that could be used for the media player on the device.
Honestly, I don’t think that this type of thing would be that far ahead.

Now, that would simply be AWESOME… and probably quite inexpensive when touchscreen displays become affordable.
Hmmm… Cluttered interface… nasty color scheme… rotten audio quality… Yep, its Winamp. Its got as much appeal as “Electric Dreams”: http://imdb.com/title/tt0087197/
