Sometimes my searches turn up nothing, but mostly because I search for some odd things, in those cases I try the other search engines (vivisimo is my other random favorite) but rarely do they find something that google failed to.
who searches with yahoo? the only thing they have is a nice personal website (which i use too), including a nice calendar (which is my start page) and some nice widgets. but that´s all. i would never use them to search things on the internet. for me “search = google”. and i think this´ll be like this for a loooooong time.
