FirefoxFirefox 3 alpha 5 is out folks! The new release, which has been built on top of Mozilla’s new layout engine, Gecko 1.9, features support for SQLite bookmark storage, one of the first features to be implemented for the browser’s innovative places system. Don’t forget that Firefox Gran Paradiso is only an Alpha release, so it should not be downloaded by current Firefox users. Application developers and beta testers are welcome to give it a try though.

Firefox is moving along nicely. There is not a single browser out there that can compete with firefox, with its extensions it is just no contest.

  2. Ed Kohler says:

Will this be able to support 100+ open tabs without grinding to a halt? Sometimes I think I may be the problem when it comes to Firefox.
