Are you the kind of person who keeps on worrying about security each time you go on the Internet? Then this may be just what you need. A company named Yoggie Security Systems has recently released the world’s first portable hardware security appliance. The “Yoggie Pico” not only prevents villains from getting in your system with a state of the art firewall, but it also protects you via a total of 13 different security applications.

What makes the “Pico” so exceptional is that it is a computer system all by itself. The device runs Linux 2.6 on a 520MHz PXA270, a popular Intel processor that can often be found in smartphones and other high-end portable devices. The “Yoggie Pico” works by scanning all data before it enters your PC. If the traffic is determined to be dangerous, the Pico will cleanse it before forwarding it, and if not, it will simply let it go through.
