It looks a bit like Outlook. I just don't want my email downloading to my hard drive. I also have no idea how to configure Evolution, or how this is all supposed to work. I can't figure out how to use Outlook either, though. I switch into "can't set the VCR clock" mode when it comes to Outlook.

It's not an interface thing for me. By the way, check out makingtheswitch.wordpress.com It's a Microsoft employee who just switched to Ubuntu.

Evolution supports exchange servers, and that's in Ubuntu by default (I'm trying to figure out how to get RID of Evolution because I prefer webmail + Sunbird, but that's another story). I'm going to set up ubuntu as a VM this week and try to see if I can keep using it in an hardcore MS environment :) I don't realy have any concerns about doing that, except for interaction with my exchange server.. I'll have to dig up to see what I can do with this. I just thought of something.. You know how firefox made all those free TV spots from the work of fans? I'm sure something similar would be hugely successful with Linux...

Definitely, Linux is definitely more user friendly today then it was back in 03.. thanks to distros such as Ubuntu…

I'm going to set up ubuntu as a VM this week and try to see if I can keep using it in an hardcore MS environment :)

I don't realy have any concerns about doing that, except for interaction with my exchange server..
