Nerd usually implies smarts but a lack of social skill, wears short sleeved button-up shirts and speaks entirely in internet abbreviations. You’re thinking the dudes from Revenge of the Nerds right? Geeks, however, are smart and sexy. We’re rather regular folks but with a greater affinity for gadgets and technology. Think Tina Fey or Kari from Mythbusters. Okay, maybe that line isn’t all that fine but you get my point.
Either way, one website attempts to change nerd fashion. Ever wonder what the Beatles would look like as Nintendo Wii characters? Or maybe you’d rather sport Space Invaders or a giant Digg button on your chest? Either way, if you’re looking for t-shirts that perhaps only other geeks and nerds will understand, NerdyShirts is a good place to start.

you know, only people who are truly geeky will differentiate between nerds and geeks. nerds don’t even differentiate the two. i’m a geek for sure. the funny thing is i was also going to write a post about this! almost exactly the same… i was even thinking “revenge of the nerds.”
geeks are hella sexy because they’re passionate about particular things that they love, and have to know everything about it. for me, it’s music and food.
i think the nerdyshirts guys are really geeks trying to spin the nerd angle. i wouldn’t know why though… nerd is not the new cool…but geek will never go out of style
Hmmm, I’m not so sure… pointing a nerd in a huge crowd would be quite easy, but it’s an entirely different matter for geeks! Geeks usually look like most people.. but makes them geek is what they have inside their head.
