True enough, Neil — but uselessness is in the eye of the beholder. Someone’s looking for most of that content. The trick is having a good search engine for it. In my experience, Google does a much better job than Technorati.

Hey Trent, thanks for reading and commenting. Do you often look at who links to you on Technorati? I use an RSS feed for that, but I often find that the links are bogus. What’s your experience?

I only use Technorati for finding other similar blogs that I might want to trade links with, or to spy on my “competitors” and see where they’re getting traffic for. Other than that, I think you’re right – Google and Bloglines is where it’s at!
