The Original Commodore Computer company made PC compatibles running with 8086 (PC XT) and 80286 (PC AT) class CPUs. These were capable of running any version of DOS up to DOS 6.0 or so. Then someone came back and bought the name and sold 80386 class PCs capable of running Windows 3.0, or OS 2. Then someone did it again in the early Pentium 1 era. So this would be the third time a third party has resurrected the brand name. That's all it is. A brand name. Hardly all that newsworthy. Although I am in favour of retro-themed gaming PCs. I would buy one if it looked cool, and if they did some cool things like: (1) re-issue retro 80s style joysticks, like the EPYX one, but updated for USB, (2) preload a Commodore 64 emulator and a library of legal C=64 games on it.
