My favourite OS :D For that matter, I'm using it right now, though he used 6.10, I think (read it the other day), and I'm using the alpha of 7.04. 7.04 will have the wobbly window effects courtesy of Compiz installed by default, though they have to be enabled through the System > Preferences menu. He only tested desktops, as well, so he doesn't know about the wireless. As of 6.10 setting up wireless is still a bit annoying, but 7.04 has wireless roaming installed and enabled by default to make it install-and-go much faster. The last improvement that comes readily to mind is the presence of a metapackage in the Add/Remove screen which installs all the proprietary codecs so you don't have to use ubuntuguide or hunt around for all the necessary parts.
